Exhibition RESTA 2024 with STATREG card for free!

The international and largest construction business exhibition in the Baltic States RESTA is back!
On April 25 - 27 of this year, the exhibition, which will be held at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Center LITEXPO, will be waiting for all those who build, renovate and are interested in the latest construction technologies and trends.

For the third year in a row, the Lithuanian Association of Construction invites all professionals with STATREG Builder or Construction Engineer cards to visit the RESTA 2024 exhibition for free!

When coming to the exhibition, you must have a STATREG Builder's or Engineer's card with you and present it at the entrance.

The RESTA 2024 exhibition for the construction business is the only specialized exhibition in the Baltic States that has won the recognition of the global exhibition business association UFI.

The best graduates of the Vilnius Builder Training Center will receive not only a diploma, but also a Builder's Card!

The Vilnius Construction Training Center (VSRC) and the Lithuanian Construction Association (LAS) are starting a new phase of cooperation.
From now on, all the most advanced students of the Vilnius Builders' Training Center, who have successfully passed the final exams, will receive their STATREG Builder's card for free!

This initiative, established by VSRC and LSA, is an incentive tool to increase future graduates' interest in their profession and dedication to science.
This innovation should not cause additional difficulties for students, as their final exam will also be counted as an assessment of STATREG competences.

A builder's card is not only a tool for a professional builder, but also a document confirming qualifications that will facilitate the integration of newly graduated builders into the labor market.

Three more "ten point holders” - this time at the site of UAB YIT Lietuva

The first assessments at the Yit Lietuva UAB site did not disappoint - even three foremen demonstrated strong knowledge and skills worth 10 points: Artūras Siauka (Installation of gypsum board partitions), Arvydas Jasiulis (Installation of gypsum board partitions) and Vytautas Kuncaitis (Installation of rendered facades systems).With the newcomers, total 15  "ten point holders" are registered in the STATREG system today.

Assessors had a natural question - where does such knowledge came from? According to all the foremen, the strictest teachers were their own mistakes and work failures. The two of them are members of the examination board of the Builders Vocational Training Center and have been assessing the young builders themselves for several years, but everyone was too modest during the examination. However, co-workers do not spare kind words and confidence in the professionalism and personal qualities of their leaders. This is probably the basis of a good working environment at site.

The best assessors of year 2019

At the end of the year the STATREG Administration selected the top five competency assessors of 2019 based on their activity, professional skills, quality of assessments, contribution to competency assessment exams drafting and communication with the employees being evaluated.

The top five is: Algirdas Auzbikavičius (Gargždai), Marius Jankevičius (Panevėžys), Saulius Aužbikavičius (Gargždai), Raimondas Zaborovskis (Vilnius), Linas Drilingas (Panevėžys)

New BIM trainings and BIM competences for foreman

Lithuanian construction association (LCA) invites foreman and highly skilled (IV-V level) builders to register for new practical BIM (building information modeling) trainings in 2019-04-03.

In the training you will gain knowledge and skills which are necessary for building information model use in your work, you will be able to read, understand and follow digital drawings on your tablet or smartphone.

BIM competence assessment possible the same day after completion of the training.

Training will be: 3th of April., start at 8:00 am, VSRC (Laisvės av. 53, Vilnius)

BIM trainings, price per person: 64 € (price per person for companies, which received EU support under the LCA project will be 32 EUR, the other part will be covered by EU funds.)

BIM competency assessment, price per person: 39 €.

If you don't have a Builder’s card – in case of positive assessment result of competence, card price: 10 €.

Evaluated facade installers

 

February 15, 2019.  STATREG competences assessors visited Ltd. „Rukvina“, which installs windows, doors and etc. facade elements, construction site. There was evaluated 9 workers, they will be issued a builder's cards.

To demonstrate practical installer skills for workers was easier than answer the questions about building energy efficiency.

All construction sector workers who have confirmed their competencies can get builder's card.
